Hey there! I'm Sarah, a mama to 4 littles and wife to one hard workin' farmer (who happens to be my sweetie since high school). I have my Ph.D in the field of education, but these days I can be found cleaning peanut butter & jelly off the counter, dreaming of traveling the world, hosting “get-togethers” for my family & friends, and chasing my kids around the farm. I'm the author of Moo, Moo Nap, Nap; The Growing Season: A Year of Down-on-the-Farm Devotions and Loved Baby: 31 Devotions Helping You Grieve and Cherish Your Child After Pregnancy Loss. Some days just end up being like a Bluey episode! The rain kept us from the river, but the littles found muddy puddles & Chinese checkers. Don’t be deceived— only reason for his wrapping his arms around her was to pop a firecracker popper on her.

I hate,hate any plans in the summer (other than vacation 🤣) or any organized activity.

Promise- if you give them a chance to grow bored they will find all kinds of fun!

Thinking ahead! In 90 days we will have fields of pumpkins & sunflowers. We used the seeds we saved from last year’s gorgeous sunflowers to plant along the pumpkin rows. This is why I wrote Wake Up, Little Seed- I want kids to understand that the process of growth takes times, it requires the hands of individuals & God’s grand design. @tyndalekids

I’ve collected quotes to post around our farm on the 4th to remind us of the brave sacrifices made, 250 years ago, by individuals for our freedom. The colonies united to assert independence from English rule. As I’ve studied American history this year a common theme I found was George Washington writing, “Under God”, whenever he spoke or wrote about events. He believed in the divine providence of the nation that sought to value individuals as individuals in the same way that God created us all. Of course our nation is a contradiction- it didn’t go far enough to include everyone. But it did set the groundwork for freedom for all. It’s an honor to celebrate 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸

@arrows.in.the.sky held a beautiful gala this past

@arrows.in.the.sky held a beautiful gala this past weekend to support their mission of shipping hope centered support boxes to families facing pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy after loss, infertility, and pregnancy after infertility.

They have supported families in 45 states and are located in Harriman, TN. Knowing their story shows me the goodness of God and how He truly pieces together people with different gifts to work toward his wholeness of purpose.

It was such a joy-filled night where we helped pack boxes and learn how they see their mission continue to impact more people by showing the love of Jesus.

Getting all dressed up with my friends made the night even more fun!! We had lots of laughter!

Final day at #Cattlecon26 was a BLAST. The highlights were out of this world. Beckham came to help me, @valleychristianacademytn Ag Program came to tour the NCBA convention, met new readers, purchased my fist real cowboy hat from @shortyscaboyhattery, and heard RFK Jr speak. As a political & podcast JUNKIE this was a dream come true. His simple message of how eating real food will transform us all was so refreshing.
