Hey there! I'm Sarah, a mama to 4 littles and wife to one hard workin' farmer (who happens to be my sweetie since high school). I have my Ph.D in the field of education, but these days I can be found cleaning peanut butter & jelly off the counter, dreaming of traveling the world, hosting “get-togethers” for my family & friends, and chasing my kids around the farm. I'm the author of Moo, Moo Nap, Nap; The Growing Season: A Year of Down-on-the-Farm Devotions and Loved Baby: 31 Devotions Helping You Grieve and Cherish Your Child After Pregnancy Loss. It’s been a recent adventure of celebrations!

We spent a few blissful days in Keys celebrating the 28th year anniversary of the handwritten note asking me to be his girlfriend 🤍 and the 20th anniversary of saying “I Do” 💍.

Most years we celebrate on the porch with a home cooked dinner but on “milestone years” we go all out by gifting each other uninterrupted time together.

We are very thankful for our family who took care of ALL the kids and ALL of their afterschool activities so we could go MIA in MIA— well Islamorada but we still took the A1A.

Cheers to many more years of our happily ever after.

We also recently got to celebrate Mark’s 40th! Perry and I never go and get dressed up but we had a recent run on fancy occasions. It’s been fun!

Moo, Moo Nap, Nap, is a lovely board book accompaniment to the delightful daytime custom of naptime. This peace-giving book helps children realize that all of God’s creations are designed to rest.
