Listen, Learn, Love: How to Dramatically Improve Your Relationships in 30 Days or Less | Book Review

Growing up, Oprah was a mainstay in my family room.  After school I’d grab a snack and immerse myself in whatever lesson she was teaching.

My favorite episodes were when she had experts sit down for a chat.

Susie Albert Miller, author of Listen, Learn, Love: How to Dramatically Improve Your Relationships in 30 Days or Less would have most definitely been a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show!

She is a relationship expert.

Her book is filled with simple, user-friendly suggestions and tips that can help us transform all our relationships into great relationships.  This is a better your marriage, better your work environment, better your friendships, and better your family communication book all rolled into one breezy, manageable read.

Miller, a therapist/coach for 20+ years, believes that relationships are the currency of today and that learning to create and nurture significant relationships is essential to meaningful, enjoyable, and productive lives.

Don’t we all want this for our lives?

The book is hinged on listening, truly learning about each other, and loving well (putting another person first).

I highly recommend you put this on your “to-read” list….especially if you are struggling to feel heard and tired of surface-level relationships.

Although this is not positioned as a marriage book, it is a book that will  revolutionize your relationship with your partner.  Applying the simple changes in how YOU interact with your loved one will greatly transform your marriage.

This book reminds us all that our relationships with others are the most life-giving part of our lives.

Thanks Susie for helping us build more joy in our everyday interactions!listen-learn-love-big!
