Women who Have the Heart of a Mom

My Mom…

In honor of Mother’s Day & the #HonorAllMoms movement I am thrilled to offer you a prayer prompt calendar, created by the amazing Kelly O’Dell Stanley (author of award-winning Praying Upside Down, for you to use the month of May.

Will you set aside the month of May to pray and encourage all sorts of women? Women who have a baby to hold in their arms, those who do not; those who wanted to be a mom but never got to be, and those and who were placed into that role by circumstance; children who have lost their moms and moms who have lost their children.

My heart ached as I made the list of women who need a little extra-encouragement (single moms, moms who’ve had a stillbirth or miscarriage, women who’ve lost their mother, women battling infertility).

And it rejoiced at all those women we need to celebrate (grandmothers, teachers, nurses, moms with children who have special needs).

So this year, to celebrate #HonorAllMoms, will you join us as we encourage and pray for women whose hearts rejoice and women whose hearts are heavy.

Subscribe to my email list and you will receive a link to download a pdf of the May prayer prompt calendar.

(note…once you do sign-up with the email please check your spam and junk message box.  it has a tendency to land in these locations).

Attach it on your fridge, sit it in your car, paste it on your bathroom mirror, put it beside your Bible…just put it somewhere you can see it each & everyday!

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15, NIV).

You can also click here to learn more about the #HonorAllMoms movement and how we can stand in solidarity as individuals and as the church to show empathy and love.

And Kelly, thank you for choosing this project to highlight.  You are amazing and have such a big heat for others!
